Well this one is......I am by no means in the political knowing. I am not even registered to vote.

With that being said I don't complain about those that are in charge of making change.

Here lately with the add and the smear campaigns, I cant believe that these are grown adults running for office

BUT........ they don't even take the cake IT'S............

Todd Akin yep that's right.....

His thought process it so off the mark, talk about a real open mouth insert foot.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — In an effort to explain his stance on abortion, Representative Todd Akin, the Republican Senate nominee from Missouri, provoked ire across the political spectrum on Sunday by saying that in instances of what he called “legitimate rape,” women’s bodies somehow blocked an unwanted pregnancy

“It seems to me, from what I understand from doctors, that’s really rare,” Mr. Akin said of pregnancies from rape. “If it’s a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down. But let’s assume that maybe that didn’t work or something: I think there should be some punishment, but the punishment ought to be of the rapist, and not attacking the child.”

First of all sir who ever those Dr's might be, Should return to school and burn their degrees. A woman body has no idea if the sex is mutual or any other. Do you know how many babies came into this world unwanted/unplanned but loved none the less.

I do agree with you that the unborn child should not be punished for the way they were conceived, But let's flip the thought process. What if it was your daughter or niece (GOD Forbid) would you still think the same, would you force them to carry a baby conceived in that manner to full term and deliver it.

Better yet would you want that child to someday learn that they were a product of rape. I can hear you now saying that they don't have to know but trust me they will grow up and want to know where they came from and that revelation would be devastating for the child and the mother that has to re-live that time 20 years later.

I am not and advocate for abortion but that is a personal decision and should not be taken from anyone

So Mr. Todd Akin next time think before you speak......The Mommahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12978042583841209094noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8315879465324960860.post-64555329255157548972012-08-18T15:41:00.001-06:002012-08-18T15:43:15.593-06:00Akasha Jade REDNECK PRINCESS....

This is one of the best holidays that we have it has so much history for all Americans weather born here or immigrated here. This day has more history than any other for us all it gives us the ability to be free.
A 40 hour work week and then to entertain the kiddos on the weekend this summer seems to be going on forever. General I love summer with the sun and the hot weather, the ability to stay out side longer and did I mention the lighting bugs for those of you that don't know what I am talking about the are amazing threw a child eyes, for an adult its just a bug that's butt lights up when they are looking for a mate.

Even thoe it is JULY 3rd, summer is winding down school will be back in session 2nd week of August. I would say that I cant wait but that would be a lie, that just means that my days will be filled with car pooling and homework can you sense the sarcasm. I have a 4th grader and a 1st grader so there is plenty of school work to go around.

I wonder if there is someone out there that could invent a Parents time off. Maybe a weekend with no kids not even a thought of one, where you can be care free be a kid again.

Don't get me wrong I love my kids but I miss the me time. Even it its just to take a shower with out some one at the door yelling my second name MOMMY.

As you can tell I am a multi tasker I can go from one thing to another in ablink of an eye. You will soon get used to my ramblings that or I may have a normal blog someday so don't miss itThe Mommahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12978042583841209094noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8315879465324960860.post-63805766575395530822011-07-02T14:37:00.000-06:002012-08-17T17:13:33.303-06:00Say WhatI am so over loaded with thoughts today not even sure where to begin this blog do I keep it simple or do I just let it flow

I am gonna just let it flow so fasten your belts and hold on......

This day started out with nothing planned Mr. Man had to work. I had every intention to clean the house Military style. Notice that I said that I had every intention. It did not pan out that way with it being a holiday weekend I just could not stay at home. Even with the thought of all three kids and me being by myself I just had to go to the beach.

The big kids have been a few times with Mr .Man while I had the luck of working (I know you can sense the sarcasm in my voice). This was the first time that Akasha will be going she 23 months old so the thought of watching the older kids while keeping a even close eye on baby was a little troubling.

BUT...... To my surprise we made out just fine the big kids were not happy when it was time to go so I bribed them with McDonald's they fall for that every time.

Baby girl was less than thrilled with the beach she did not like the sand for sure.

Once home it was nap time for all OK just Akasha. Oh how I love my QUITE TIME!!!!! Pause

Well that was short lived Babies up and Mr. Man is home......The Mommahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12978042583841209094noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8315879465324960860.post-63706228888351437042011-07-01T19:27:00.000-06:002012-08-17T17:13:33.300-06:00OMG KidsThis blog shall serve as my outlet, 3 kids 1 husband. I wanted to know my line where I come from how we came to be in the states. Most of the peices have been put together prior to me looking do to other family haveing the same questionsThe Mommahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12978042583841209094noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8315879465324960860.post-89156319698646988772011-02-02T12:54:00.000-07:002011-02-02T12:54:07.688-07:00SNOWDAY!!!!!Today is the first official now day here in IOWA......

Snow started yesterday while I was doing my part in the collections world until 9 pm. It was a rather nerve racking drive home. Getting to 235 was a issue the ramps were covered with 2 ft of snow, trying to stay with in the lines was a pure guessing game.. The exit ramps were just as covered . My drive way was an even bigger problem talk about needing a running start to get in to the garage........

To my surprise work was open and all the schools were closed, need I say no work for me or Mr. Man. Oh wait he had work shoveling the drive way and sidewalks. I guess I could have helped but I am allergic to anything below 40 degrees.

I have been to a few so get the idea of what to expect and how to play the game but I just hope that someone comes and buys all my stuff so that I don't have to move it with me to my new home. Most of it is Baby stuff since I am no longer in the business of growing babies I will not have any need for it and I know that some lucky person will love it. Akahsa is going to be 1 in July and she really did not use a lot of the stuff either and might I add will not miss it. SO hopping that the yard sale fairies being me lots of buyers (WINK WINK)The Mommahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12978042583841209094noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8315879465324960860.post-40914022892231234282010-06-15T08:20:00.000-06:002010-06-15T08:20:01.931-06:002 week count downI am getting so stressed at this point I have learned that when I pick up the truck on the 28th I have to drop it back off in Iowa on the 2nd of July. For most people you would think that 4 days would be enough time will not for me. We have to load 2 houses (my MIL is moving to). I planned to load everything on the 29th-30th then leaving really early in the am on the 1st it about a 12 hr drive in a car so I figure with a moving truck it gonna be about 14 hrs, that will put us in there about 5-7pm. My Husband will be working till 3am so I have to unload at my new house, take the rest of the stuff to MIL house then have the truck at the place by 9am on the 2nd. I am gonna have to rethink this whole thing lol. But I do have faith that it will come together with out a problem (wink)The Mommahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12978042583841209094noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8315879465324960860.post-65062178123077731702010-06-14T09:43:00.000-06:002010-06-14T09:43:34.472-06:00Pregnancy,Estrogen and WomenPregnancy, Estrogen, and Women
I would like to start over.

Think about it the only things that you have to worry about are when the next episode of 90210 is on when the new release of NKOTB is coming out, Whose house your gonna be camped out at for the weekend, who's driving you to the YMCA to hang out with your friends.

The only bill you have to pay is the lunch lady with the check your mom gave you, maybe a fine from the library for not bring the book back on time (who would trust a middle schooler to remember).

The most important thing of your day is meeting your friends at there locker and then walking the halls till the bell rings, and securing your lunch table that you have sat at fro all of time (surprisingly you have not carved your name in it lol)

Your only worry is to make sure that the teacher does not call out your name in class to read aloud.

Man those were the days.......

The other day while driving a had a discussion with my son who had just stated that he could not wait to be an adult. I informed him that being an adult was not fun and that he should stay a kid for as long as he could. I explained to him that being responsible to pay bills and give up your time to go to work only look like a Good time.

Thur this conversation I let them know that it was a huge responsibility to take care of babies and that you had to give up alot of the things that you might want like buying new cloths and shoes, because your kids need that stuff........

To my complete and udder surprise he said Thanks mom I know sometimes where bad and we make you upset, But I think that I am gonna wait a long time to have kids I want to buy a mustang, motor cycle, boat, and a pull trailer so that I can go fishing.......

If only it were that easy to buy all that stuff, The joys of being Innocent I love my kids that keep me sane all the while driving me crazyThe Mommahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12978042583841209094noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8315879465324960860.post-61622634765888435462010-06-13T22:09:00.000-06:002010-06-13T22:09:21.953-06:00My 2nd Husband

I just watched is new movie Dear John I loved the bases of the movie shed a few tears.

I give the movie a B-

But I'll probably watch it again just for Channing
The Mommahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12978042583841209094noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8315879465324960860.post-1934437359023726762010-06-13T18:41:00.000-06:002010-06-13T18:41:50.420-06:00My View Point

So after a year of not taping john finally gave in and released the kids to be on TV. Am I the only one that finds this a tad bit disturbing, It appears to me that they have thrown out the concerns of the kids for a pay check. I will admitt that in the beginning that I was one of the people that was hooked on this out of pure need to understand how you would be able to raise this many babies at one time. But as the years went on it became apparent that the money got the adults hooked and in the end played a vital role in the demise of their family. Which is sad that they put a TV show before their family.

Now that is not to say that I agree with any of the parties. Kate treated John horrible, in the way that, So were she talked to him her slapping him in the face all the time but on the flip side of that he let that get out of hand I know that with that many kids you get tired and you nerves get real thin but if they would have attacked it as a team it would have helped. I also do not ever condone cheating of any sort John stands strong stating that he never cheated on Kate in any sort of way. Some may argue that him being out all night at a night club doe not help his case.

So all in all I think that the whole thing has issues both parties are to blame and it seams that neither wanted to try and make it work. So were back to the fact that they are once again putting the family on display for the world to watch
The Mommahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12978042583841209094noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8315879465324960860.post-83230220464552034172010-06-13T15:21:00.000-06:002010-06-13T15:31:40.134-06:00My Babies

Mr. Man lost his job in march of 09 in the height of the job market crash. We had our 3rd little one on July 31st 3 weeks early but none the less very healthy. Even dealing with the job loss a new family member we never lost sight of the important things, Family Friends and each other. We managed to keep everything paid and everyone happy it took some deep cut backs and some daily changes but we made it........

This has led to a drastic decision on our part on April 21st 2010 Mr. Man drove off to Iowa in search of a job. Three long weeks later he found a job that fell in place with his skills and paid him very well. So I ask this question why did it take him leaving his family behind in Colorado to achieve this new beginning (my opinion only) I think that it has something to do with us living in military country to many people and not enough jobs to go around.

So as a family we have decided to relocate back to our roots. In the short time that he has been there he got hired on full time making more money that he has ever made. ( I might not have to work full time) Secured housing for a family of 5 with more room than we have ever had.

Now to make the move deadline of July 1 lol so far I have got everything packed that is not needed, Purchases a train ticket for BIL to be able to come out and help us load the truck and drive back. I do have to say that there is definitely some reservation about this process.

I am leaving a job that I at one time loved of 4 years but hence the once loved I think that it is time to cut my losses and move on. I have some great opportunities lined up so I am very optimistic.

The most exciting part is that for the first time in my Children's life they will be surrounded with family and the people that they have only got to visit 1 time a year. Not to mention I will be back with some of the greatest friends and support system. So life is truly looking up for the Anderson family. I know that with out the blessing and support of my near and dear not to mention the man upstairs this would not be possible.

So we are IOWA BOUND Back to my Roots!!!!!The Mommahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12978042583841209094noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8315879465324960860.post-75773350863728254022009-08-26T11:19:00.000-06:002009-08-26T11:36:52.227-06:00
So I guess that I Should explaine this just alittle bit.

In March of 2008 I got up that day only to notice that I had this huge black spot over my left eye. I was some what concerned because I am a diabetic and this is sometimes a sign if issues regarding that. I called the Dr. and they requested that I come right in . I get there and they can not find anything wrong with the eye itself. So the Dr said that it is optic nuritios (sp?) Which is the onset of MS.

This scared me to my core I have taken care of people with this and know some of what will happen in the furture. I am a wife and mother of 3 and I have a life plan of being active with them, and not being a burdento any of them. I am thinking to myself that this must a a cruel joke, but no such luck

I have since educated myself with any information I could find and know that I can fight this.

I have made a few fiends at work no less with the same illiness and a fw have had it for 20+ years so I know that I can live with this too.........

The Mommahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12978042583841209094noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8315879465324960860.post-56672447850640304282008-06-27T13:53:00.000-06:002008-06-27T13:54:10.731-06:00Life Quote to live by

The Mommahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12978042583841209094noreply@blogger.com0
