So I am gonna try my hand at a yard sale Saturday. I have been to a few so get the idea of what to expect and how to play the game but I just hope that someone comes and buys all my stuff so that I don't have to move it with me to my new home. Most of it is Baby stuff since I am no longer in the business of growing babies I will not have any need for it and I know that some lucky person will love it. Akahsa is going to be 1 in July and she really did not use a lot of the stuff either and might I add will not miss it. SO hopping that the yard sale fairies being me lots of buyers (WINK WINK)

2 week count down
I am getting so stressed at this point I have learned that when I pick up the truck on the 28th I have to drop it back off in Iowa on the 2nd of July. For most people you would think that 4 days would be enough time will not for me. We have to load 2 houses (my MIL is moving to). I planned to load everything on the 29th-30th then leaving really early in the am on the 1st it about a 12 hr drive in a car so I figure with a moving truck it gonna be about 14 hrs, that will put us in there about 5-7pm. My Husband will be working till 3am so I have to unload at my new house, take the rest of the stuff to MIL house then have the truck at the place by 9am on the 2nd. I am gonna have to rethink this whole thing lol. But I do have faith that it will come together with out a problem (wink)

Can I be a Kid again
After along much needed weekend from work, I have decided that I long to be a kid again. I would like to start over.
Think about it the only things that you have to worry about are when the next episode of 90210 is on when the new release of NKOTB is coming out, Whose house your gonna be camped out at for the weekend, who's driving you to the YMCA to hang out with your friends.
The only bill you have to pay is the lunch lady with the check your mom gave you, maybe a fine from the library for not bring the book back on time (who would trust a middle schooler to remember).
The most important thing of your day is meeting your friends at there locker and then walking the halls till the bell rings, and securing your lunch table that you have sat at fro all of time (surprisingly you have not carved your name in it lol)
Your only worry is to make sure that the teacher does not call out your name in class to read aloud.
Man those were the days.......
The other day while driving a had a discussion with my son who had just stated that he could not wait to be an adult. I informed him that being an adult was not fun and that he should stay a kid for as long as he could. I explained to him that being responsible to pay bills and give up your time to go to work only look like a Good time.
Thur this conversation I let them know that it was a huge responsibility to take care of babies and that you had to give up alot of the things that you might want like buying new cloths and shoes, because your kids need that stuff........
To my complete and udder surprise he said Thanks mom I know sometimes where bad and we make you upset, But I think that I am gonna wait a long time to have kids I want to buy a mustang, motor cycle, boat, and a pull trailer so that I can go fishing.......
If only it were that easy to buy all that stuff, The joys of being Innocent I love my kids that keep me sane all the while driving me crazy

Back to my Roots
Since I have failed to post here is a long time, I think that I am prepared to begin attacking this on a daily bases, This last year has been tough to say the least we have definitely hit some rough patches but have never given up the fight. Mr. Man lost his job in march of 09 in the height of the job market crash. We had our 3rd little one on July 31st 3 weeks early but none the less very healthy. Even dealing with the job loss a new family member we never lost sight of the important things, Family Friends and each other. We managed to keep everything paid and everyone happy it took some deep cut backs and some daily changes but we made it........
This has led to a drastic decision on our part on April 21st 2010 Mr. Man drove off to Iowa in search of a job. Three long weeks later he found a job that fell in place with his skills and paid him very well. So I ask this question why did it take him leaving his family behind in Colorado to achieve this new beginning (my opinion only) I think that it has something to do with us living in military country to many people and not enough jobs to go around.
So as a family we have decided to relocate back to our roots. In the short time that he has been there he got hired on full time making more money that he has ever made. ( I might not have to work full time) Secured housing for a family of 5 with more room than we have ever had.
Now to make the move deadline of July 1 lol so far I have got everything packed that is not needed, Purchases a train ticket for BIL to be able to come out and help us load the truck and drive back. I do have to say that there is definitely some reservation about this process.
I am leaving a job that I at one time loved of 4 years but hence the once loved I think that it is time to cut my losses and move on. I have some great opportunities lined up so I am very optimistic.
The most exciting part is that for the first time in my Children's life they will be surrounded with family and the people that they have only got to visit 1 time a year. Not to mention I will be back with some of the greatest friends and support system. So life is truly looking up for the Anderson family. I know that with out the blessing and support of my near and dear not to mention the man upstairs this would not be possible.
So we are IOWA BOUND Back to my Roots!!!!!
