I have been bitten by the CUPCAKE bug.  I have been baking my heart out I will post pictues and more soon this hears just a teaser

Dinner on a Budget

Today I have decided to give you all and insight to my culinary expertise.  With a family of 6 we tend to eat on a budget most of time.


Tristan my oldest is the pickiest child I have ever meet, he does not eat red meat or meat of any type unless it is chicken or fish crazy IKR.


I decided that tonight to make Baked Spaghetti, lets face it normal spaghetti just get boring there's only so many ways that you can dress it up.

This is so simple and makes more then enough

whats needed

10-13 inch pan
Frying pan
Soup pan
Cookie sheet

Ingredients

1 lb Hamburger
1 green pepper
1 small onion
Garlic powder
2 16 oz jars of sauce
6 TBS Sugar
1 can mushrooms
4 cups mozzarella
Garlic bread or sticks

Preheat oven to 400 Prep time 1hr

You'll need to boil your water add some salt to keep the noodles from sticking together.  Get your frying pan heated up add the 1 lb of hamburger and garlic powder to your liking.

Add Onion and Green pepper to meat and brown Once cooked drain well place back in pan add sauce mushrooms and sugar Simmer.

Once noodles are done drain add butter to keep from sticking together.

Place line layer of sauce tot he bottom of the 10/13 pan then add a layer of noodles then another dose of sauce then rest of the noodles then the rest of sauce.  Cover with foil and back for 30 min..

While waiting you can always do like me and fold some much needed laundry, Give a bath or two, Clip some coupons my new favorite love.  Learning to live on a budget =0)

OK now take the dish out of the oven remove the foil and cover with the 4 cups of cheese more or lees for your liking.  Place back in the oven for 10 min.

OK now what else can we do with the spare time, maybe cut up a salad Oh wait that is not on the list but feel to add or alter as you wish.

Times up take it out let it set for a few

Does that not look amazing and it taste AMAZING  too !!!!

I like to take the time now to bake some bread sticks to add to this BUDGET MEAL

Just 1 of those days (If your a MAN this aint for you)

This is not a blog for most just you tired over worked mommies out there.  It seems that there is never enough time in the day or enough of me to go around and today has been no exception to that.

I am one of the many moms out there that work a full 40 with a small commute, only to start my second job that last for 16 hrs.  The weekends are another story there is no down time.

I am a bit OCD about my house being clean and admit that I bring it on myself but I do have what most would consider to be help.... HAHAHAHA do you hear the sarcasm YEP I do

So this has been my Sunday.....

Hubby did the 3 dishes that were in the sink to be done carried the laundry baskets down to the basement and oh yeah that was he contributions thus far and its 8pm so I am gonna say he is done. Here is what has transpired since

My day has been cooking cleaning and laundry not to mention during this down time for hubby he says to me the kids need baths REALLY REALLY

I am so mad that I could scream

Why do men seem so detached from the things that we do on a daily bases

I know this is a question asked by most but when is my off day when do I get to just sit and do nothing

This is why I have not been able to blog since July and the only reason I found time then was cause I just detached myself from what I knew needed to be done and maybe that is what I need to do more often...........

Happy 4th of JULY

Independence Day honors the birthday of the United States of America and the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. It's a day of picnics and patriotic parades, a night of concerts and fireworks, and a reason to fly the American flag.

There are so many thing that we as Americans do to celebrate the birth of our nation.

In Coney Island New York they are kicking off their.

Hot Dog eating contest where they had ladies eating 40 hot dogs and buns and Men eating 60 of the same.  I don't know about anyone else but I am not so sure stuffing myself with hot dogs would be a good idea.

There will be thousand of Americans enjoying Americas favorite pastime BASEBALL

The sound of the National Anthem over the ball park speakers.  The crack of a bat, the smell of hot dogs, nachos and pop corn.  Sounds like a great way to spend celebrating our nation.

While the rest of America spends their time with family weather it be blended, extended or friends that are more than family. 

This is one of the best holidays that we have  it has so much history for all Americans weather born here or immigrated here.  This day has more history than any other for us all it gives us the ability to be free.


So on this great day don't forget the men and women that have given the ultimate sacrifice or the family that have been left behind

New Blood Addiction

So I have this new addiction to this great show this is not it's first season or it's second let me show who why it easy to be addicted

This is the 4th season and it is just getting better every Sunday at 9pm on HBO if you haven't seen it you should or if your the book type they have books too

Is it just a feeling or is it real

This summer seem to be taking all my energy.  A 40 hour work week and then to entertain the kiddos on the weekend this summer seems to be going on forever.  General I love summer with the sun and the hot weather, the ability to stay out side longer and did I mention the lighting bugs for those of you that don't know what I am talking about the are amazing threw a child eyes, for an adult its just a bug that's butt lights up when they are looking for a mate.


Even thoe it is JULY 3rd, summer is winding down school will be back in session 2nd week of August.  I would say that I cant wait but that would be a lie, that just means that my days will be filled with car pooling and homework can you sense the sarcasm.  I have a 4th grader and a 1st grader so there is plenty of school work to go around.


I wonder if there is someone out there that could invent a Parents time off.  Maybe a weekend with no kids not even a thought of one, where you can be care free be a kid again.

Don't get me wrong I love my kids but I miss the me time.  Even it its just to take a shower with out some one at the door yelling my second name MOMMY. 

As you can tell I am a multi tasker I can go from one thing to another in ablink of an eye.  You will soon get used to my ramblings that or I may have a normal blog someday so don't miss it

Say What

I am so over loaded with thoughts today not even sure where to begin this blog do I keep it simple or do I just let it flow

I am gonna just let it flow so fasten your belts and hold on......

This day started out with nothing planned Mr. Man had to work.  I had every intention to clean the house Military style.  Notice that I said that I had every intention.  It did not pan out that way with it being a holiday weekend I just could not stay at home.  Even with the thought of all three kids and me being by myself I just had to go to the beach.

The big kids have been a few times with Mr .Man while I had the luck of working (I know you can sense the sarcasm in my voice).  This was the first time that Akasha will be going she 23 months old so the thought of watching the older kids while keeping a even close eye on baby was a little troubling.

BUT......  To my surprise we made out just fine the big kids were not happy when it was time to go so I bribed them with McDonald's they fall for that every time.

Baby girl was less than thrilled with the beach she did not like the sand for sure.

Once home it was nap time for all OK just Akasha.   Oh how I love my QUITE TIME!!!!!  Pause


Well that was short lived Babies up and Mr. Man is home......
